denz 501 Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 I really love the idea of having a movie cover art but in my situation using serverwmc is just wrong not always but most of the time like you can see below. it I would rather have it disabled so it just has a generic icon like for the movie: valiant. I am surprised that it is getting a wrong cover art when as you can see below Movie: Despicable Me has a poster of a sequel.
Happy2Play 9783 Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 Go to Metadata-Services-use dropdown for each type-Image setting and uncheck the images you don't want, you can uncheck Image fetchers also. But all previously downloaded images you will have to manually delete. Do you have metadata save with media or local?
denz 501 Posted February 26, 2016 Author Posted February 26, 2016 I found it thank you but it doesnt make sense that i have to disable it how can emby from movie: the promise get sailor moon details there must be a bug in the server. Once we are able to import xmltv so i dont have to use serverwmc will see if it makes difference.

Without a better description of the issue it just a guess, but I think Emby may have an issue with the naming scheme prefixed "Movie:" then name.

Deathsquirrel 745 Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 Looks like a simple recognition issue to me too. Make sure your movie naming follows the conventions described in the wiki or use the identify tool built into the web UI. If you're going to manually identify movies rather than change your naming convention I strongly recommend saving your metadata in the movie folder so it can't be lost to a server drive failure or crash.
Happy2Play 9783 Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 (edited) I believe this is Live TV, if so is there a setting to not Prefix movies with "Movie:"? Edited February 26, 2016 by Happy2Play
Koleckai Silvestri 1154 Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 You have "Movie:" in all your folder names? That is most likely what is causing problems for you.
denz 501 Posted February 27, 2016 Author Posted February 27, 2016 Luke is right the server is doing it correctly it is darn prefix that is causing issues. Once the xmltv import is available I will create a batch file to remove that prefix because I still like to have it in WMC with that prefix so you know it is a movie I am not a fan of coloured guide that is why I have it disabled in WMC. It is just a shame that the prefix cannot be ignored but I do understand other guide data could have other prefixes. Maybe one day Luke creates an option that it ignores the prefix when it is searching the themoviedb or the other movie database as an advanced option. Thanks everyone.
