Cinema Mode: Just for 'Movies' and not for 'TV', possible?

Hey folks,

I'm not sure if I've missed a setting somewhere or not but is it possible to have Cinema Mode work only for the 'Movies' collection and not both 'Movies' -AND- 'TV' collections?

I've been using the latest Emby for Samsung app over the last couple nights and really enjoy the addition of having Cinema Mode working again for our home theatre setup, but yeah, as a personal preference I would rather only have Cinema Mode work on our 'Movies' collection only?

Thanks folks,

Dodgy Bob.

There is an option in the web client so it may just be getting the app to have the same options.

I've been using the Cinema Mode for quite a while, and I've not had it throw trailers in front of TV Shows.  It will, however, throw trailers in front of things that are not actually considered TV Shows, such as Stand Up Comedy.

Here's why....  you have to unselect "Episodes" under Playback > Cinema Mode in the server

Actually, movies only is the default. Been that way for a long time. It is possible that back in the early days when this feature was first developed that it was enabled for everything by default. So if that's when you installed your server that would explain that. For everyone else though it's off by default for episodes.

Bizzarre! Obviously I missed that   :(

Righto, will look into things tonight once I'm back home, thanks for pointing me in the right direction folks   :)

Yep, completely missed it!

It wasn't until just getting home now and matching up @@dejavux2's screencap and Emby's dashboard menu that I put 2-and-2 together.

Yes, I remember turning on Cinema Mode for both during inital setup now. I just didn't think to go back to "Playback" for Cinema Mode.

Thanks heaps folks, I've fixed everything up now. Much appreciated.

Kind regards,

Dodgy Bob.
