chiefnerd 18 Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 (edited) Couple of things: 1) Installation seemed to go OK on our 14.04 LTS server but on opening the wizard we choose language, click next then all we get is the spinning circle- no progress. 2) to go with this checking atop 2 processes started from emby hogging a fair bit of CPU use- Threadpool W (around 60%)and also mono-sgen (30-60%) As soon as we stop emby the to processes immediately disappear so they aren't really hanging and becoming zombies or anything. It actually went to the next step, then adding media didn't work, then it did then wouldn't add media, added emby to a group with folder access, restarted emby and then back to constant spinning circle again. Am I missing something? Does emby need about an hour to start up it's services or something and I'm just being impatient? UPDATE- To go with being unable to set things up from the web interface we keep getting this webpage is unavailble, connection refused. The port (8096) is open, the server is running fine and those 2 processes are still hogging up the CPU It's basically unuseable- I think emby server is in a constant loop, if we get an interface, nothing works, then emby server is starting try again shortly, then connection refused etc etc etc. Very annoying as it might have saved me some time, shame no body can help Edited February 25, 2016 by chiefnerd
