HTPC23 4 Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 I am a novice at this stuff so please use small words if you have any input. Got a Blu-ray rip (via AnyDVD) of The Martian and its just traditional BDMV folder structure (not mkv or anything like that). There is a scene where some Chinese people are speaking and the English subtitles are not showing up. I have tried it with the EVR, EVR+ and MadVR players and cannot get it to work. Now it if try this same movie using MPC-HC with S: English [ENG] (pgs) settings selected under Play > Subtitles as shown below it works just fine... I am having this same issue on the new Fantastic Four movie. Is there a fix for this as I would prefer to use the embedded player in Emby Theater? Thanks
HTPC23 4 Posted February 23, 2016 Author Posted February 23, 2016 Are you saying it should work? If so then i would be all in for the lifetime subscription. Is there some kind of trial where I can test it out?
Luke 42078 Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 Folder rip structures are just starting to be supported now so there is progress on the latest version, although there's still more work to do.
HTPC23 4 Posted February 24, 2016 Author Posted February 24, 2016 Well I prefer .mkv rips but those didnt work either (subtitle wise) so figured i would start with the folder structure and work my way back.
HTPC23 4 Posted March 4, 2016 Author Posted March 4, 2016 Sorry for the delayed response but my HTPC is running an i3-2100 so it uses the embedded graphic (Intel HD Graphics 2000)
