Library Scan Excruciatingly Slow

I started a library scan because some new content wasn't showing up. The scan has been at 0.5% for an hour or so now.

 

Server: Beta 3.0.5882.0 installed today

try removing all plugins and see if the issue persists with the core server.

It used to take 1-2 hours to scan for me, and I was able to get it to about 10 minutes by disabling some of the image settings under Metadata --> services.  I don't recall which one was causing so much issue.. but one of them was.

Be sure to disable chapter image extraction during library scans.  That's on the advanced tab of metadata settings.  It's very slow to do both at once.

I did this which allowed it to complete but now my movie library has a lot of previously watched content showing as new, never watched..
