Why would cover art break live TV?

As the title says really.

 

I opted to try premiere for a year and noticed a shiny new toy... Cover Art.

 

At first I didn't put 2+2 together but when cover art was on, live TV would start, show the picture for about a second then go off. After messing with my Mediaportal settings without luck, I removed cover art and everything was back to normal.

 

Any ideas why it would cause it?

No, I cannot think of any way that CA would affect playback...

I decided to reinstall Mediaportal from scratch today so I'll try it again and let you know how it goes.
