Deathsquirrel 745 Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 My understanding is that the strength and weakness of the store app is that it must use MS playback libraries. If MS supports it it already works and if they don't transcoding is required until they do.
heksesang 10 Posted February 18, 2016 Author Posted February 18, 2016 Well, what about having the MS library do the playback and then have a subtitle layer on top (which isn't powered by the MS libraries)? It can display the playback controls on top of the video, so a subtitle should be possible too?
