Taking too long to generate a thumbnail of tv recordings

I have issue with thumbnail generation of tv recordings using serverwmc. The server is on 24 hours a date and I don't have many movies and things like that but it is taking days to generate a thumbnail when I look at the current recordings in any client I still have a recording that is 5 days old without thumbnail and so are all the recordings that are recorded recently. I checked WMC and it has thumbnails so does explorer. Is there a setting that is causing this or what can I do to help narrow down this issue that I am having.

 

I have reported this in Emby Theater when I realised that this applies to all clients
