Some live tv channels are transcoded some are direct playing

I have noticed that some live tv channels direct play and some are transcoded so have attached logs to see can ffmpeg be improved or the server detection that it direct plays all of them if possible. If other logs are needed I will gladly help. I am on android 5.1.1

I took a quick look at your logs and my first guess is that is something related to Bitrate limit for DirectPlay.

 

Trespassing this limit...caused him not to be eligible for direct, so he was forced to Transcode.

 

Maybe if you try to take a better look at Direct Stream parameters in Emby?

Thank you anderbytes I have seen this being mentioned before I will search the forums now I now what I am looking for.
