album info uses (too much) space

Hello,

I am migrating from Plex to Emby.

However, for Emby, I noticed that a full album uses a lot of real estate

For my personally, I prefer the interface of Plex:

- artist info is on top of page

- list of songs is compacter

just my thoughts... :-)

kind regards,

Bart

The Plex method is nicer.

I suspect that the code is being reused elsewhere. In this list, there is no need to repeat the cover image. On some compilations having the artist name could be helpful. It could be on the same line as the title and de-emphasized though.

I'd also like the details at the top instead of under the song list.

a little bit better on the new interface, but still using to much space. Also: album/artist information is gone... :-(

IMO it is important to see all artists pertaining to a track, and be able to navigate to those artists.

Both are of particular benefit when the set of artists on tracks in album does not match the set of album artists for EVERY track on album

Plex does this very well (in the roku interface at least)

As far as I know, the new webinterface http://tv.emby.media/index.html will be skinable.

I supose there will be some skins comming up with al our desiderata... :-)
