Problem using Seek with MP4s

Hi All,

 

I have an issue with MP4s that I have created using DVDFAB, I can no longer seek in Emby in WMC. Neither skipping forward or backward do anything, try to skip using the mouse fails and when I exit and return to the MP4 the resume function is not displayed I can only select play. 

 

These MP4 files used to work find until I had to re-install Windows 7 due to a Window crash ever 10 minutes.

 

Before the re-installed I virtualised the O/S so I could run the old PC as a virtual machine and in that VM with emby for wmc I can still skip in MP4s. (Note 99% of the time VM does not last long enough for me to do anything before it crashes, so not good to compare systems).

 

So after a complete format and fresh install I now have this issue, any ideas what I am missing for these MP4s that does not allow me to skip in Emby for WMC...

 

If I view the MP4s in WMC without Emby then I can seek fine, jump forward 30 seconds, jump back 10 seconds but not when I use EMBY for WMC.

 

Any ideas

Best guess is it is a permissions issue such that EMC cannot directly access the items so they are being transcoded and streamed.
