Scheduled Task: Clean Database... Taking For. Ev. Er.

Hey folks,

 

Just after 6am this morning the Scheduled Task "Clean Database" started and has been running since. It's now 4:32pm, so its been ten and half hours!

 

I think it was at about 9am or so it hit 40% and now it is up to 45.5%.

 

Should it be taking this long? I haven't wanted to stop the computer in case that might mess something up, but I'm between-a-rock-and-a-hard-place now and I have to.

 

Can anyone shed any light on this at all please?

Well what server version?  The log will give more insight.  But if this is a recent upgrade to beta or dev then yes it could talk awhile.

Once in a while this may take a little time, but it won't be everytime it runs

Sorry for the late reply folks.

 

Server version is 3.0.5821.0

 

This was the first time - that I'm aware of - that it has run. So maybe it was just a case of first time = long time !?

 

Also, I did have to shut down, which stopped the clean, but I restarted it and then it took 6mins to finish !?
