Scrolling content lists in new version

Sorry if the title is a bit misleading.

 

The new version does not appear to support scrolling through content lists using the remote key pad other than next or previous, as you can in the WMC version

 

Any idea when it will be possible to scroll using letters.

 

I've nearly a 1000 movies in my collection if I want to watch a film starting with "m" it's not practical to do this by scrolling right or left, one item at a time, on the WMC version I can just press the "6" key on the remote an it will take me to the first item starting with an "m".

 

Sorry if this functionality is already enabled but I couldn't find it.

You can use the letters at the bottom of the screen to scroll to section of your collection starting with a specific letter.  Not quite as convenient as pressing a number but still a lot better than scrolling through a tonne of movies or shows.

At least, you can scroll to all of your movies.

I am approaching 4000 movies and can only scroll to M.

Search works though.

The letter's at the bottom are massively better than the old theater app. I am near 6k movies and use it constantly. I'd say its a massive 1 up over the old theater.

 

The search function also works very well
