91esprit 8 Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 I'm confused. I keep seeing references to "latest version" but no version number. What is the latest version number? Where is that documented? Normally there should be a version history list but I can't find it. Am I right that the latest version number for the "New" theater is 1.x.x while the version number for the latest "Old" theater is 3.x.x? Surely that can't be right.
Luke 42078 Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 Yea it's not right, should be changed. The reality is they are two completely different apps, and if i could do it over again we probably would have given the new app a completely new name. 2
arrbee99 1815 Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 Cannot the new Emby Theater available for download be named after the version number, and not just setup.exe ? Are we still at version .41 ?
QUIKFLUX 6 Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 All i can seem to download and use is .41 at the moment, its the latest one i can see.
arrbee99 1815 Posted February 13, 2016 Posted February 13, 2016 Its been on .41 for a while, which is fine, but I begin to think maybe its not updating so I thought just putting the version number in the download file name would be an easy way to check.
Koleckai Silvestri 1154 Posted February 13, 2016 Posted February 13, 2016 1.0.41 is the latest version available currently. https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Emby.Theater.Windows/releases

Sammy 790 Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 1.0.41 is the latest version available currently. https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Emby.Theater.Windows/releases So is this how I get a copy for the NUC I'm building right now? This NUC is probably not going to use EMC at all but I want to control Emby with a remote which I don't think that the webapp will allow. Does it still have a WMC launcher built in is I were to want to do that? Where to get the old app?
Koleckai Silvestri 1154 Posted February 20, 2016 Posted February 20, 2016 You should download from this website initially. I don't know anything about Windows Media Center. I have never really used it and don't have any computers with it installed or where it can be officially supported. The old version is embedded in a thread somewhere in these forums. Not really sure where as it isn't a viable option for my environment.
bluemonkey07 590 Posted February 20, 2016 Posted February 20, 2016 The old version is still available from the emby website also
