sonofdad 2 Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 I updated to Version 3.0.5821.0 yesterday and since doing so have two instances of Emby showing when a list of DLNA servers is displayed on any media device (LG Bluray, PS3). I'm thinking this is due to using both LAN ports on the DS414 but is their an Emby setting to only display one instance?
Luke 42077 Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 Are they both accessible, or does one fail?
sonofdad 2 Posted February 6, 2016 Author Posted February 6, 2016 Both are fully accessible from browsing directory structure to playback of mp4 video. I also ran 'connect to media device' on Windows 8.1 which found 2 instances checking the properties each has a different IP address corresponding to LAN1 and LAN2 of the DiskStation
Luke 42077 Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 Ok, thanks. I'm going to have to review what identifying information is sent out to see why the device would see it as two separate servers. thanks.
Luke 42077 Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 Ok, I'm going to make sure they're all reporting the same uuid, i think should take care of it. thanks.
sonofdad 2 Posted February 17, 2016 Author Posted February 17, 2016 Back to normal after updating to 3.0.5871.0 tonight 1
