Media Browser Surface Client Does not see content

Hi,

after a couple of minutes in the chat i was able to do pretty much everything i wanted except being able to connect to the content via the surface app. For some reason, it connect to the server, it sees the profile, but the media content is completely empty. Web interface works fine from the same tablet.

 

Any clue?

 

Seems like a bug to me albeit probably a missing configuration somewhere.

Are you using a surface pro?

 

Windows Apps can't send network traffic to the localhost.  You'll have to use this app as a workaround.  http://loopback.codeplex.com/

@@rblanc If you go into the webui, can you select Movies, TvShows and Music or do you only see your folders (Collections)?

The difference between the Win8.1 app and all the others is that it does not support Collection view (Yet.. scheduled for next release)
