Syncing requiring transcoding failing

Hi Guys

I am getting a sync failed error when attempting to sync content to other devices with transcoding. The last time I successfully synced was December 2015. I am using intel Quicksync and playback transcoding is working with no problems. I am using server version 3.0.5821.0 running as a service.

Hi, as a test, can you try to disable quick sync and see if that allows the sync to complete? thanks.

I have recently started to use intel quick sync as previously it didn't work as the CPU GPU in Bios was off. Huge difference in terms of noise coming from the server.

 

Unfortunately selecting auto instead of intel quick sync fails as well. I have tried syncing a range of different media (admittedly all mkv), a whole range of other changes to the settings, even running from exe not service with the same result.
