casminkey 19 Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 Hi, I had some hard drive problems and started removing and changing library locations. Then realized I didn't want to do that. So when I went to restore from an older config from the backup plugin, no backups showed up. The only thing that changed was the location where the backups were stored (I had to move them off the bad drive). I can perform backups, but none are listed to perform from. Any help? Maybe a way to manually restore a backup? Server Version: 3.0.5821.0 I attached some screen shots showing what I see in the web client and the backups on my file server. Tried from Chrome (On a Mac and Windows) and Firefox (From a mac) and IE.
casminkey 19 Posted February 4, 2016 Author Posted February 4, 2016 FYI,I was able to follow the backup log and move all the files back that it had copied.
ebr 16169 Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 Is "J" a local drive or a mapped network drive? Are you sure it was accessible? If you bring up that config page in chrome and hit ctl-shift-j are there any errors in the console?
casminkey 19 Posted February 5, 2016 Author Posted February 5, 2016 J is a mapped drive on the Emby server, but I've also tried placing \\servername in the field then browsing to the folder. All set now though, I manually restored the files I wanted.
ebr 16169 Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 Don't use mapped drives. They are nothing but trouble.
