teshiburu 5 Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 Afternoon all, I am looking to migrate to EMBY from PLEX for your live TV features, I was really excited until my initial media scan took 13 hours to complete, at the moment i have only added my Movies directory which contains some 2000+ films, but surely it shouldnt take this long! I am now running a 2nd scan to see if it is me that is at fault, and it seems to be scanning and downloading images and such, for the movies But this line keeps repeating (movie name changing in every iteration) 2016-02-02 14:33:48.9467 Error App: Error parsing xml file D:\Movies\2D Movies\Superman (1978)\Superman (1978) [720p] [tt0078346].xml It keeps giving a similar error, when these xml files it refers to are not actually present ANYWHERE? Any reason for this error and long scan times?
teshiburu 5 Posted February 2, 2016 Author Posted February 2, 2016 Also getting this within the logs now as well 2016-02-02 14:41:42.7818 Error App: Error getting response from http://webservice.fanart.tv/v3/movies/289891?api_key=5c6b04c68e904cfed1e6cbc9a9e683d4 *** Error Report *** Version: 3.0.5818.0 Command line: C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\System\MediaBrowser.ServerApplication.exe Operating system: Microsoft Windows NT 6.1.7601 Service Pack 1 Processor count: 8 64-Bit OS: True 64-Bit Process: True Program data path: C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server Application Path: C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\System\MediaBrowser.ServerApplication.exe One or more errors occurred. Luke 42083 Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 Hello and welcome. Please refer to how to report a problem, including always making sure to supply complete log files that demonstrate your issue. As far as the initial scan times, we fetch more metadata by default and you have the ability to disable certain features you might not want using the server's web interface.
ebr 16187 Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 If you have chapter image extraction enabled that can be a very time-consuming process.
