Mustang Dave 5 Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 I have movies with custom folders to indicate that they are 3D and have locked their content so that it cannot be changed, but it seems like time I go into those movies one or all have been changed to their original and they are locked.
Mustang Dave 5 Posted February 2, 2016 Author Posted February 2, 2016 For example, I have Thor and Thor 3D... Separate folders, separate locations...\\MEDIA-CENTER\Media2\My Movies 02\Thor\Thor (2011) --- Meta UNLOCKED\\MEDIA-CENTER\Media3\3D Movies 01\3D\Super Heroes - 3D\Thor 3D\Thor (2011) [sBS3D] --- Meta LOCKED - Custom 3D folder created, obviously indicating it is 3D and it gets over written.
Luke 42083 Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 Unfortunately it's nearly impossible to determine what might have happened after the fact without more indication of everything that you did. A great way to narrow this down would be to add a brand new title, reproduce the issue, and then retrace your steps to us. Thanks.
Mustang Dave 5 Posted February 2, 2016 Author Posted February 2, 2016 All I do is move the movies to their respected locations, wait for the meta to populate, go into the web interface and lock the 3D so nothing can be changed and replace the folder image with the one that I want and Save. I have ones that have been locked for months all of a sudden being changed and I haven't done a thing. I checked my backups and they show my custom folder, just on the live data is it changed. The only plugins I see that could affect the meta would Auto Box Sets, CoverArt, Anime.
Luke 42083 Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 i think autoboxsets and anime both have conditions that might cause them to save metadata. i would try removing them and then seeing if the issue persists.
Happy2Play 9783 Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 (edited) How are the image named? Is this a folder.jpg - poster.jpg issue? Are images getting over written or added to the folder? Edited February 2, 2016 by Happy2Play
Mustang Dave 5 Posted February 2, 2016 Author Posted February 2, 2016 Ok... Just checked one... Man of Steel (2013) [sBS3D] has BOTH -- Folder and Poster (jpg) and is LOCKED, but the Poster is the one that is showing not the Folder that is my custom. All the Movies shown in the attached Media 3D had custom covers just recently and all have the Poster over ridding the Folder image, is that the norm now?

That doesn't sound like an issue with locked data. Nothing was overwritten, we are just defaulting to a different image name now. You may just need to run a process after stark that copies the folder.png to poster.png.
Mustang Dave 5 Posted February 2, 2016 Author Posted February 2, 2016 Thanks Happy... that explains its... Lucky I don't have alot of 3D's... Did not catch that thread... Someone needs to create a tool change all non hidden folder.jpg's to poster.jpg to make things easier. Because to come to think of it I do have folder.jpg all through out... I am old school when it comes to file naming...
