ghostguy 6 Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 (edited) Normally i run my HTPC 24/7 never monitor or HD off. I've started to wonder about power consumption and wanted to try using power management sleep. It does work fine with one exception. Waking my HTPC up right now is require to use the keyboard which normally sits in a closet used only for system edits. Using the iOs app or my harmony remote doesn't wake up Win7 any suggestions? Thanks Edited February 1, 2016 by ghostguy
tigrao01 0 Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 I use a classic Windows Media Center remote to wake up my HTPC. It has a power button that wakes up the machine without fail. For when I am away from home, I have a router with DD-WRT setup for Wake-on-lan. It has been working great for me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
