Morphy 3 Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 I mentioned this in the Android features thread but nothing got said and I was just wondering what the chances were of it being implemented? My library mainly consists of lossless flac and whilst this is great for my HiFi/ home streaming, my nexus phone doesn't love it so much. I thought I'd give premier a go and coughed up for a month just to see what sync was like. Now I see that transcoding audio isn't a part of it. Flac to mp3, ogg, aac, anything. Kind of a deal breaker for me I'm afraid.
Luke 42077 Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 it should be switching to lossy soon so please try again. 1

At 128kbps though? Bit low for me... I'm going to be fussy now and ask for a profile selection possibly? Or at least up the bitrate to 320 please?
Morphy 3 Posted February 8, 2016 Author Posted February 8, 2016 Great, thanks didn't realise this had dropped! Just tried and voilà mp3. At 128kbps though? Bit low for me... I'm going to be fussy now and ask for a profile selection possibly? Or at least up the bitrate to 320 please? Is there any chance of changing the default bitrate to 320 please? The file size difference is negligible imo but jumping to flac is quite significant. 1
Morphy 3 Posted August 9, 2016 Author Posted August 9, 2016 Bump. Is this on the roadmap? I like sync but not being able to play with quality sucks. And audio sync only at 128kbps is a deal breaker..
Luke 42077 Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 It will be reviewed in a future release. Thank you for your patience.
