sever 3.0.5097.16641 - ffmpeg.exe no longer launchers - movie will not play within browser

Hey all,

 

Updated to server 3.0.5097.16641.  I can no longer play movies/tv shows from within a web browser (on server) or the MB Mobile ios app.  Using Firefox.  On the server, I get the little play 'window' with pause and stop controls, but just stays black - never plays.

 

On ios app, tries to play for about 15-20 seconds and then goes back to detail screen.

 

I notice ffmpeg.exe never appears in task manager.  I've attached the logs for when I tried play a tv show on the server - tried playing show for about 20 seconds and then stopped..

Looking at your logs the media info task has not run on some of your files. 

 

Try running a force refresh on \\DLINK-16F098\Volume_2\TV\Almost Human\Season 1\Almost Human.S01E01.Pilot.mkv and then retry.

 

you may also need to clear the contents of %appdata%\MediaBrowser-Server\cache\encoded-media

 

If then it works you may need to blow you library database away and let it rebuild.

How do you run run a forced refresh?  Do you just mean rescan the directories?
