drashna 47 Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 As the title says. It shows the login prompt just fine, but once it logs in.... it is a blank screen. Eventually it will show the Emby screen saver. The system in question: Windows 10 Pro x64 Intel Celeron J1800 (2.4GHz) Intel HD Graphics I've tried disabling the transparence in the personalization settings. And I've tried this: http://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/29844-bug-emby-theatre-is-just-a-black-screen/page-1 Neither helps, and the logs don't indicate any issues.
brego 0 Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 I possibly had a similar issue. In the previous ET, after logging in with a password using my remote, I would push enter in order to get out of the keyboard input that would pop up, and proceed to logging in by pressing down to get past the remember me option and down again to the sign in button. That same remote sequence in the new ET for some reason got a similar blank screen you describe. However, if, after finishing password input via the remote, I would instead push down on the remote, the sign in button would light up, and then my login would process as normal. I hope that is your issue, as it was easy to solve!

You want to enable transparency, not disable it.
drashna 47 Posted January 30, 2016 Author Posted January 30, 2016 I've tried it both ways, doesn't seem to make any difference. Though, on closer inspection, it isn't really blank. I can very faintly see the login screen after logging in. https://drashna.net/files/emby/Drashna%20Remote%20Support_WALLACH_2016-01-29_1.png
drashna 47 Posted January 31, 2016 Author Posted January 31, 2016 Stock. I haven't messed with the DPI settings, as they tend to cause more issues than they fix.
drashna 47 Posted February 2, 2016 Author Posted February 2, 2016 Well, tested it again today, and there appears to have been an update, and this has fixed the issue. (that, or being off for ~20 hours due to a power outage did it)
Luke 42077 Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 I doubt the update would have affected it but I'm glad to hear that it's not happening anymore
