New Router Installed... Now Unable To Connect

Recently upgraded my router and now my Roku 3 can't find the server. Manually add the server address and it doesn't work. Restarted the Roku, Emby software and the computer I have hosting everything... Can't connect...

Hi lazybob, welcome. Have you tried any other devices? for example, how about the web interface with a smart phone or tablet?

You might have to reset the wireless settings on the roku, not just reboot it.

Just tried on my phone and another computer and couldn't connect.

 

You might have to reset the wireless settings on the roku, not just reboot it.

Are you sure you have the right ip address? how are you determining that?

Can you see the roku listed when opening "network"? It should show in other devices.

 

Also did you set up the server pc as knowing it is on a "home" network when redoing it? The firewall might be the issue otherwise.

That was it. When I set up the new router it must have auto set to a Public network because it never gave me the option.
