server keeps auto adding tv tuner

Luke, this has been an issue for a fairly long time. I don't remember people complaining that much about it but it seems pretty annoying to me.

The server keeps adding my HDHomerun as a TV Tuner even though I have serverWMC setup in Emby. I'm not sure if there is any advantage to the server for having the TV Tuner added directly (perhaps direct streaming via DLNA?). If there is a reason that you want it auto added can we have much better channel control.

What I mean is that in serverWMC/WMC I disable a lot of channels because they are either in another language (spanish, korean, chinese, etc.) or are crap (QVC, PPV, paid programming, etc.). If I remove the TV Tuner that Emby adds then the TV Guide shows just my serverWMC channels and everything is populated. If I leave it then all those crap channels show up with no guide data (I don't have a guide provider setup in Emby).

Can we either get a way to disable/hide/delete channels in the Emby TV Guide or a way to stop Emby from auto adding the TV Tuner?

Click the tuner and disable it instead of using the trash icon.

We probably can consolodate those options in the future.

Thanks ebr. Yea, I think that there should be a more obvious way. Delete may still be needed but maybe simply having a popup when you press delete asking if you want to remove it completely or just disable it's use along with an explenation would be good.

Will disabling prevent Emby from streaming directly from the tuner? It would be nice to have the best of both.

Also, I noticed when I clicked on it the IP address didn't populate the field and it was required for me to save the enable/disable checkbox. After manually entering the IP address subsequent clicks on the tuner did show the IP address. Again concerned if Emby does try and use the tuner it won't always work since there is a chance that the tuner IP changes but now I have manually entered a value.
