Auto-organize issue with "brand new" (to Emby) TV shows

If I have episodes of a show that hasn't previously been catalogued by Emby in the search directory for Auto-Organize, and then I create a directory for the show, Auto-Organize will run concurrently with Scan Media Library.

This leads to episodes in the show being copied to the correct directories with show name and season/episode number only. No episode name.

i don't really understand all of that but the first part is by design. auto-organize does not create new series, only adds to existing ones

Sorry, I'll try to be more clear.

- I get new episodes for a show that I don't have a directory for yet, and is thus not in Emby yet either. These episodes are in the directory where Auto-Organize looks.

- I now create the show directory. Emby runs "Scan Media Library".

- While "Scan Media Library" is running, Emby starts "Organize New Media Files".

- "Organize New Media Files" chucks the new episodes in the correct order in the directory for the new series. However since this is a brand new show in Emby and "Scan Media Library" has not yet finished, most episodes only have Series name and season/episode number. They are missing the episode title. E.g. "The West Wing - 4x02 - "

ok, yes, we'll have to skip the organize if the series hasn't been identified yet, and then just let the next pass organize it

Sounds like a good plan.  :D

A feature for creating new series from within the auto-organize dialog is implemented already, but hasn't been included in the Emby codebase as of today.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this will happen soon...
