Afternoon,

 

Hi Guys , i've updated the newest emby theatre, installed 2 days ago from the website.

Well done this is a massive improvement, much nicer to use.

 

I have one problem question, 

When I click play i get the resume or play option.

the resume shows for  films, but not on tv episodes, is this a known issue?

am i doing something wrong?

A couple issues/suggestions I have for the new ET:

1.) Pressing on "Television" or "Movies" in the top navigation bar no longer takes me to my library; instead, I need to go down to "All Series" or "All Movies" at the bottom. While not a huge deal, I just think it'd be nice to be able to use both buttons to get to the library (I swear I was able to do that for a couple days with the new ET, and then the ability to do so was removed).

 

2.) "Info" button doesn't work. Pretty self explanatory, and I know you guys are still working on proper control support. Also, on a side note to the info button: I think it'd be nice to have a subtitles menu on the "info" OSD again, instead of just the small "CC" button on the Play/Pause OSD.

 

3.) Also, an issue that the old MBT suffered from as well, which I think is a pretty key feature: After watching an episode from "Next Up" on the home screen, when you go back to the home screen the next episode should be displayed, not the one you just watched.

 

4.) I've mentioned it once before, but I'll add it to this list anyway: Adding some sort of visual cue such as the chevron I made a mock-up for in my previous post of the subject, would make it much easier for the user to realize that they are able to press the "right" key on a TV episode from the episode selection screen to get to the details view. The only reason I know this is possible, is because I accidentally hit the button at one point.

I know this is still a work in progress, I just think these small changes would be very beneficial to making the new ET as user-friendly as possible!
