QuickSync only works on initial transcode

When forcing QuickSync on a i3 4010U Chromebox, Ubuntu 14.04 and Kernel 4.0.9, only the initial playback attempt works. After seeking (not always, but mostly) the initial file being played, the Web Client returns an error and kicks me back to media view. Every attempt to play a file needing to be transcoded after the initial playback fails. Only a server restart restores working playback, but the behavior persists.
