Jack Burton 98 Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 (edited) Hey guys, not sure if I'm missing something or what but I noticed today some movies are missing from my Emby library, and it only seems to affect the web client so I thought I'd let you know. As an example, I've been going through and cleaning up my collections, and wanted to start a new one for the The Three Flavours Cornetto trilogy. Made the collection and went to throw Shaun of the Dead in there, and couldn't find it. Also couldn't find Hot Fuzz (World's End was there). Both films were available in Kodi (emby for kodi), as well as on my android app, just missing on the web client. I found them using the search feature and all was well. Then as I was looking through I noticed the Dark Knight Trilogy only had 2 movies in it. It was missing Batman Begins, and it's also missing from the library view. Again, it was available (though out of the collection), on Kodi and android, and I was able to find it and re-add it through the search feature. Not the biggest deal since I watch everything through Kodi, but just wanted to give you a heads up. Seems some collections have been taking some movies out (noticed it last week with Evil Dead 2 and Aliens as well, though they were in the client and was just somehow taken out of the collection). I haven't noticed any connection between the movies coming out of collections as it only seems to affect a few. Anyway, thanks for all the hard work! Edit: Nevermind about the "missing" movies, I'm an idiot and had the sort order set to metascore for some reason. Wow. Anyway that parts figured out Edited January 23, 2016 by johnston0536
Deathsquirrel 745 Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 Do you run the autoboxset plugin? Do the movies that aren't showing in the collections have the correct collection ID in their metadata?

Do the movies that aren't showing in the collections have the correct collection ID in their metadata? I have autoboxset, yes. Seems some movies get kicked out of the collections every so often. Collection ID's look right but that's after reloading into the collection. I'll have to remember to check the collection ID next time I see one outside the collection.
Deathsquirrel 745 Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 I had the same issue with the plugin. When I checked the TMDB source data I found it was wrong for whatever reason. It would get fixed later. I stopped running the plugin as I didn't like random people on the internet effectively editing my collections. I use the plugin to setup the server and then turn it off and do collections by hand. That said, other users with similar issues have sworn the collection ID was still in the metadata so maybe your issue is different than mine.

I suppose I could just disable it now that collections are set. Did you have any non moviedb collections setup that got erased or edited? For example I've got 2 collections for the Marvel CInematic Universe movies for phase 1 and 2 and it would suck if they got erased. Took awhile to setup with all the art and such.

No, I never lost any that never existed on tmdb at all. Things I created myself were fine. Things I created which also existed on tmdb did get modified. So the Monty Python collection which kept getting added and removed on tmdb, would appear and disappear even when I made my own copy.
