msavazzi 1 Posted January 21, 2016 Posted January 21, 2016 I've created the media stub as per Kodi specs as well as the Emby specs in the wiki. The stubs are imported correctly during library scan. The issue is the path that is created: at the end of the stub file is added a \VIDEO_TS part that SHOULD NOT EXIST It's a bug. the stub files should be passed as is to kodi for it to process them
Angelblue05 4132 Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 So what you are saying is that you label it a dvd disc, while it's not one? What format is your content. For the add-on to append VIDEO_TS, the server recognized the content as a dvd structure.
msavazzi 1 Posted January 22, 2016 Author Posted January 22, 2016 (edited) This is a STUB not a real DVD. In other words it is a: \moviename.dvd moviename.dvd.disc Is not a real content! I created it as explained in the stub section of the wiki. It should not be added the \VIDEOTS etc... as Kodi will read the file .disc and show what's inside... To reproduce it is very easy: 1) create a folder mymovie.dvd 2) create a text file mymovie.dvd.disc 3) add in the text file these info <discstub> <title>sample movie</title> <message>disc number xxx</message> </discstub> 4) save 5) update library 6) from kodi play the new mymovie expected result: kodi to show a dialog with text <message> wrong result: error content not available Edited January 22, 2016 by msavazzi
