Upcoming TV

A folder called Upcoming TV was recently added into my TV series collection after an update.

 

It shows that it has 3 unwatched TV episodes in it for some reason.  When I click on it it shows which shows in my collection have upcoming new episodes which is cool and all but not really useful for people who are using this system for the most part.

 

Is there an option somewhere to turn this off to avoid confusing people?

Okay so now way of removing this completely right now.

+1 for me. I have my TV Series organised with the artwork generated the way I want it and the new Upcoming TV icon does not suit. I don't use it and I would like the option to turn it off or remove it.

I believe that is the way it has always been.  IOW: I haven't changed anything in this functionality in quite a while.

I've never seen Upcoming TV at the top level, only ever in the sub-views.

Love Emby and I don't want to sound ungrateful, but what is the point of forcing us to have this folder? Personally I have no use for it and it is actually rather annoying that I can't get rid of it.

I also am annoyed by the sudden showing up of this upcoming TV thing... I use legacy folder views and never saw it before. The update this week (which I applied yesterday after I returned from a trip) created three new problems that I'll detail in a separate thread, this being one of them.

 

What I love about EMBY is that the user gets to decide how things look; this forced upcoming TV thing is an annoying break in the paradigm.

 

Please make it easy to turn it off! :-)

In the last weeks the "Upcoming TV" icon/folder appeared between my collection of TV show.

No option available in the Configuration panel to switch it on/off.

 

 

I'm sure the team will work on it. So please DON'T BE POLEMIC. It's a bug (It happens) and 100% will be solve.

 

A new request related to this issue:

Could you make possible (more then switch it on/off) to choose another language/state for the "upcoming TV" (I've check that the upcoming TV list shows the next episodes in the native language, but I watch the TV shows when they are translated in Italian language and so the upcoming day is clearly different).

Could be possible to select the language/state of the "Upcoming TV" list? (so "Upcoming TV" list could be useful and interesting also for who watch TV shows in a different language).
