where is the beta change log

Hi, 

 

I've install the beta and I would like to know if there is a change log available.  The update come everyday and I would like to know what's change and what's fixed.

 

I'm now at 3.0.5816 and the last change log that I could find was I think for 5807

Depending on how you updated.  If auto-update was used then in notifications when you update.

Can we get a link to the GitHub changelog added to the dashboard?

That way we can easily track incremental changes that do not warrant a blog.

 

I know a link to GitHub is already there but takes a little digging to get to and this would make a little more user friendly for the masses.

I think it would be more for the ones that don't have auto-update enabled.

Yes, I suggest for blog info for whom do not enable auto-update.

The notifications only tell you the changes after you have installed the update.  Even Microsoft tells you what the update is for before installing (for those people who dont eat everything MS feeds them)

 

A link at the bottom of the dashboard next to the Emby link would let someone investigate the changes before they apply them.  Also,  having access to a list of all the update descriptions would be nice when troubleshooting issues.

Actually the updates are not installed until you restart the server.  You can still delete the update from the update folder before you restart the server unless you have auto-restart enabled.
