Tolotos 61 Posted January 20, 2016 Posted January 20, 2016 Hi, I have at least one series which got new data on thetvdb.com (ID: 93221). There are images added for two seasons (13 and 14) and a newly started season (15) with was added with the first episode (1). Unfortunately Emby doesn't load this new data. I tried to update the complete series, the season and the episode - nothing is working. How can I get the latest metadata into emby? -- Tolotos
Luke 42080 Posted January 20, 2016 Posted January 20, 2016 you can refresh the series from the series detail page, or an individual season or episode if you like
Tolotos 61 Posted January 20, 2016 Author Posted January 20, 2016 I tried to refresh the series, the season and the episode in the metadata manager yesterday - there was a spinning weel for several minutes but no new data was visible. So I tried it again today - same result. As all good things come in threes I tried again after your post - the wheel is spining now for 10 minutes, but the season images are present now. The log shows that for the series "themovedb.org" was called and not "thetvdb.org" where the new data was available. The series contain imdb, moviedb and tvdb id's. In the settings the order for series is metadata: 1) thetvdb 2) open movie database 3) themoviedb images: 1) thetvdb 2) fanart 3) themoviedb season have only one entry ti swich on or off: themoviedb -- is this correct? season images will be searched on 1) thetvdb 2) FanArt episodes have only one entry: thetvdb episode images will searched on 1) thetvdb 2) themoviedb 3) screengrabber -- Tolotos
Luke 42080 Posted January 20, 2016 Posted January 20, 2016 we get the entire series data all at once and cache for 24 hours so it is probably using the data that was downloaded yesterday
Tolotos 61 Posted January 20, 2016 Author Posted January 20, 2016 Thanks, the cache looks for me to be the solution.
