jant90 15 Posted January 20, 2016 Posted January 20, 2016 As the title says, what argument / parameter does /Library/Movies/Added take? Whenever I add a new movie I want to run a script that notifies Emby and adds it to the library. The script will be run by CouchPotato (automated movie downloader) so aside from the file/folder location I also have a lot of information at my disposal such as the IMDb ID for example.

jant90 15 Posted January 20, 2016 Author Posted January 20, 2016 Is your server on an OS that doesn't support the active file system monitoring? I thought not because the files are stored on a remote server mapped as a network drive so I thought real time monitoring wouldn't work. However, I just tested by moving some files into the library paths using the move from a command prompt and this seems to work, yay . I assume the same will be the case when CouchPotato is doing the moving. Maybe this is because the file operations occur on my PC (the file move and rename operations are done by the same PC that runs Emby)?
Happy2Play 9780 Posted January 20, 2016 Posted January 20, 2016 (edited) As long as the server is on a Windows system real time monitoring will pickup your new media, unless you disable it. I have MCM process and move almost all my media. Koleckai Silvestri, on 19 Jan 2016 - 6:47 PM, said: Actually, I guess this is another option that has been removed from the system.
