theusedversion 36 Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 Not getting anything but a dark grey screen when I try to bring up Emby. Any advice? Works on Edge and Chrome but I don't use those browsers except for backups. It was working fine a few days ago. I've restarted several times. Cleared browser cache. Nada.

Luke 42080 Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 yea but i'm not sure you actually read that thread because he found a solution are you using waterfox? i have not tested at all with that. i would suggest trying to clear your browsing data, which shouldn't be necessary, but just in case. thanks.

Mine was already set to keep until they expire. Already cleared my browser cache and didn't help. Yes, I have Waterfox. Downloading Firefox Developer Edition right now and see if it will work.
theusedversion 36 Posted January 18, 2016 Author Posted January 18, 2016 Same thing with Firefox developer edition.
Luke 42080 Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 I installed waterfox, and I can reproduce. I don't see the problem on firefox beta, so if the above issues finds it's way to the firefox beta branch then i will take a look at it. thanks.
theusedversion 36 Posted January 18, 2016 Author Posted January 18, 2016 Was there a recent update to Emby? I'm not entirely sure where to even check for that. If so, are there archived versions that I could download? Like perhaps the previous version. Or is this entirely a browser issue?
theusedversion 36 Posted January 18, 2016 Author Posted January 18, 2016 Does this mean anything to you? unreachable code after return statement site.js:7:7 Error: Load timeout for modules: bower_components3.0.5786.0/emby-webcomponents/requirehtml!bower_components3.0.5786.0/paper-drawer-panel/paper-drawer-panel.html_unnormalized2,bower_components3.0.5786.0/emby-webcomponents/requirehtml!bower_components3.0.5786.0/paper-drawer-panel/paper-drawer-panel http://requirejs.org/docs/errors.html#timeout
Luke 42080 Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 I fixed that error in waterfox but it's still not pulling down there HTML imports. I am surprised to hear about the issue on the Firefox Dev branch but that moves too quickly for us to look into issues with it. If I see it on beta I will address it then.
BarryAmerika 24 Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 I have this same issue in Waterfox, is it still broken or am I doing something wrong if I can't get it to work following the steps linked above? I'm happy to just use chrome when I need to do server configs, not chasing a fix.

theusedversion 36 Posted February 3, 2016 Author Posted February 3, 2016 Just wanted to update that this works now on the latest Firefox Developer Edition. Haven't used Waterfox so I'm not sure about that one.
BarryAmerika 24 Posted February 9, 2016 Posted February 9, 2016 Issue with Waterfox is related to latest update (of Waterfox), I tried a previous version of Waterfox and it works fine. To fix in current version. Type about:config in your address bar, search for dom.webcomponents.enabled and set it to false
Luke 42080 Posted February 9, 2016 Posted February 9, 2016 Well done Something is still amiss though because even without native webcomponent support, there is a polyfill (emulated version) that loads. That's probably where the issue is, as their list of supported browser is small and doesn't include waterfox. With native web component support, it's no longer even used.
BarryAmerika 24 Posted February 9, 2016 Posted February 9, 2016 I don't even know what that means, just that I can load and config my server again. In the next build webcomponents will be disabled so I figured it was worth a try, I'll just wait for a proper release before I update but a test build is here for anyone interested. https://storage-waterfox.netdna-ssl.com/releases/tests/Waterfox%2044.0%20Test%20Build%201.7
Luke 42080 Posted February 9, 2016 Posted February 9, 2016 Ok put it this way, you were playing a nintendo game on an emulator but got stuck due to a bug in the emulator software. Now you've replaced the emulator with an actual nintendo system. 1
