Taobear 0 Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 (edited) Hello Community.I have recently a quite weird problem which I discover only when playing series in Kodi 15.2 I figure out the root cause in Emby - so here is what happen. My series are spread over several Hard Disc Drives mostly in a folder called Series / Agent X / Season 1 / Agent X - S0102 ...... mkv. The Media I always organize via Emby Server.Recently it happen that one drive will not be scanned so the Media Library contain only of 92 Series instead of 121 which I currently have. However after doing a manual library scan there missing series will be added. For the moment I can accept it to do this however I prefer a permanent and easier solution. Is there any solution how to have this automatically done and not always manually? Last night after the Library scan I had all series available but this morning it misses again the one from one hard drive. I have scanned the Library manually twice and have added the Log File.Emby Server: Version 3.0.5781.3Windows 7 - 64BitBrowser: Firefox 43.0.4 Edited January 17, 2016 by Taobear
Luke 42083 Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 Hi, welcome. what do you mean by misses? Are you saying they don't appear at all, or they appear incorrectly? How do they appear in the server's web interface?
Taobear 0 Posted January 17, 2016 Author Posted January 17, 2016 Hello Luke, they do not appear in the Library. When I check those in Emby Server / Series I only see 92. When I re-scan those in Emby Server it will find all of them and I have the 121 as currently. However after switch off the PC last night and try this morning again I face the same problem. Only Hard Drive F is not recognized which is an internal drive. Attached the Server Log. server-63588617023.txt
Taobear 0 Posted January 21, 2016 Author Posted January 21, 2016 I have currently solved the issues by doing the following actions. Each of the Hard Drive (External and Internal) which contain series now has its own Media Library. Before I had the 5 locations added into 1 Media Library and now I have 5 Media Libraries with each one of the locations. After a reboot it was working properly. For the movies I still have 3 locations in one Media Library.
Luke 42083 Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 I just tested and couldn't reproduce. I created a TV library with D:\TV E:\TV Is that similar to your scenario? I'm testing on the latest code so it's possible the issue is resolved in the dev branch. Thanks.
