New Theater Skip Fwd/Bk

So I started my theater tonight to find the message about installing the new one.  Happy to keep up, I installed.

 

I like the new look.  Things feel cleaner.  Everything is great.  But starting to play an episode, my wife immediately commented that the buttons changed.  

 

Not thinking much about it, we hit the MCE remote skip back to find that nothing happened.  Uh oh.  Hit the on screen back button, but find it's grayed.  

 

So the "wife approval rating" of the new one is not looking good. What am I missing.  What the skip feature removed? I remember seeing the upcoming features with the change of the player buttons, but missed that the skip ahead and back feature was to be removed.

 

Any help would be appreciated.

These features are not yet implemented in the App. They will be there at some point. I am anxious to have this as well because I record TV and used this in other Apps to skip through the commercials. I am not sure when it's supposed to be included as of yet. That and the Live TV EPG grid will make my setup complete.

I noticed the same. Pause/skip keys aren't working on my remote either. Hopefully it gets implemented in the next release.

Use right/left on MCE direction pad for chapter skip for now. They will eventually be the normal buttons soon. Keep in mind, Emby Theater is on rapid development, so stay tuned and be patient.
