smc007i 1 Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 Hi, I was on Emby Theatre and noticed that when I go to the Suggestions page Emby put a few episodes of shows that were not completely watched under the Resume subheading - it's fine that episodes appear here if I had genuinely stopped half way through and wanted to resume later, but some of the episodes where just random episodes that I might have started for just a little bit and realised I might seen them before or that they were a few episodes ahead of where I was in the series and so I had stopped (e.g. I watch a few episodes outside of Emby). For this case I couldn't see a way of resetting the progress of the episodes without resuming and then jumping to the start or end so that they don't appear here under Resume. Could you add a menu option to reset the episode back to 0:00 and take them off the Resume portion of the Suggestions page, without altering whatever status (Watched/Unwatched) they might have? This could apply across all apps. Regards, S
ebr 16170 Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 Hit the checkmark icon. Then, if the watched state isn't what you want, hit it again.
smc007i 1 Posted January 22, 2016 Author Posted January 22, 2016 Changing the check mark doesn't reset the episode back to 0:00 in my experience, it just marks it watched (or unwatched). The suggestion is to be able to reset the play position back to 0:00.
ebr 16170 Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 Pretty sure it does but doing it twice definitely should.
Happy2Play 9780 Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 Yes toggling played/watched state resets Resume and removes it on next page refresh. In ET I had to change libraries then return to see Resume items removed.
njoak 23 Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 one can also hit play from beginning instead of resume, and then stop right away...
JoshuaAJones 68 Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 Recently, my Resume has not been showing up. I'm having to fast forward back to my previous spot.
