No Library shown

I can see recent stuff I've seen and it shows latest media but the Library is missing and I get a spinning wheel.  If I restart the PC everything will work fine, but overtime this happens again.  I don't like restarting my PC just to fix this, and restarting Emby itself does nothing.  I'm running Mint 17.3 Cinnamon 64-bit.

You should just be able to restart the service and accomplish the same thing that restarting your computer does.

 

In the terminal

$ sudo service emby-server restart

Now to diagnose the underlying issue, have you tried using a different browser when the server starts to act up?  Also, please post a complete log file from when the server starts acting up.  You can find them in the web interface or /var/lib/emby-server/logs.
