EPG Doesn't Refresh For Time Changes

Using the Nvidia ShieldTV (Emby ver 1.1.44g) and have an question when sitting on the EPG screen and the guide not refreshing.   For example:  

 

• It is 11:20 a.m. -  Sitting in EPG - No channel tuned.
  
• Walk out of Den for 60 minutes
  
• Sit back down in Den - select TV show on screen. -  States 'Program Ended' (didn't realize show was from 11:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.) - Must hit the green 'Tune To Channel'.
  
• It now tunes back to the current channel but guide still shows past shows.
  
• Only way to refresh guide to show current time & shows -  Must hit back button and come back into live TV guide. 
  

 

This is a huge blow for the WAF issue.  Is there a way to 'auto-refresh' the EPG (similar to WMC where you can leave yourself in the EPG for hours and come back and it is always current on the time).  If not, can a refresh button be be added (maybe up by the FILTER icon) so we don't have to go out and come back in each and every time?

Are you sure that, if you tune to the channel and then come back to the guide, it doesn't refresh?

Completed some more testing here.   It seems if I stay in the guide longer than 60+ min, choose a previously 'expired' show, and tune to the channel, the guide will update to the current time.   Anything less than 60 min, the guide never changes (unless you completely back out) as I stated above.

Okay, that is how it is designed so you don't have to wait for the guide to re-build every time you come back to it.  I figured within an hour was fine since all the information is still right there on the screen.
