Is Emmy cutting the file names (music files)

I have my music library on my unRAID NAS.

 

iTunes (Mac OSX) is accessing these files as well as Emby (unRAID Docker). Already the second time I recognize that iTunes can't play some of my music because the filenames was cut (e.g. rather than "It Ain't Necessarily So (Interlude).aif" the file name is now: "It Ain't Necessarily So.aif".

 

Is that a known issue and how can I investigate? The log isn't reporting anything wrong.

I use both iTunes and Emby as well. I have never had Emby change the file names. However, I am on Windows, not a Mac. I don't think the servers are fundamentally different though.

Alright that is good to know.

 

Let me further investigating what the culprit is. Not easy when 3 media devices arme having access (iTunes Mac OSX, iTunes Windows 10 and Emby)

 

Anyone else with an advise? Can the Emby developers confirm that there is no max. amount of digits in file names?
