Mark Anderson 2 Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 So I just got around to updating my movie collection and ripping recent discs. I currently use DVDFab. Tried Pitch perfect 2 and it failed. Is there a solution? What are others doing? Would hate to have to go back to ISO's again TIA mark
AdrianW 1058 Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 Try MakeMKV. (I didn't think Cinavia would prevent ripping).
mellomade 141 Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 Cinavia is a watermarking technology that has nothing to do with your ability to rip a disc. As AdrianW states - try MakeMKV - if that still fails there is something physically wrong with the disc. Besides - software players like Kodi, Emby Theater, VLC, etc do not have Cinavia detection built into their players so even if your rips had it - you would never see it. It really only applies to hardware Bluray players - for example if you were ripping the disc to ISO and burning a copy back to Bluray disc then trying to play it in a commercial Bluray player. 2
