pir8radio 1312 Posted January 9, 2016 Posted January 9, 2016 I just upgraded to Version 3.0.5805.0 but in case no one reported this issue, it looks like Version 3.0.5804 had some kind of issue... at midnight for some reason emby started consuming 100% cpu and froze, until I was able to get to it just now... Let me know if i need to send someone the log file for more info. Here are my Emby stats for the last two days if this info helps at all... 1
Overseer 66 Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 How did you get version 5805? No matter what I do I cannot get 5805. I either get installer errors or I end up with a download of version 5804 again.
FrostByte 5392 Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 I believe this was the first beta release from the new host. I use a script and had to change it some, but if you click on the link from the website and manually load it should be using the correct link for 5805
Overseer 66 Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 No. The website is showing me beta 5804. Downloaded it and when I run it I get the following error. An error occurred trying to download 'https://raw.githubusercontent.com/MediaBrowser/Emby.Releases/master/Server/windows/beta/MediaBrowser.Server.Installer.application'. I've posted this in the Testing area of the forum http://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/29723-downloading-beta-version-gives-error-305804-305805/ but right now, no joy. I've given up and have gone to the DEV version. 64-bit service support; YaY!
FrostByte 5392 Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 (edited) Hmm...maybe it was pulled I used link " https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Emby.Releases/raw/master/Server/windows/beta/setup.exe" not too long ago and got 5805. I hope that 64-bit version comes to beta soon Edited January 10, 2016 by FrostByte

Overseer 66 Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 Yeah, I tried the github route as well and just could not get 5805 from the setup.exe file. I've cleared cache and everything. Dev version right now is holding up well, so I'll keep with that for now.
pir8radio 1312 Posted January 10, 2016 Author Posted January 10, 2016 i just upgraded from emby dashboard.

Overseer 66 Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 Are you just going from beta to dev now? Yes.
Luke 42080 Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 Yes. Do you have any boxsets that were built with the web interface or the auto boxset plugin, and if so, are they still intact?
moviefan 187 Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 I am also unable to upgrade from 3.0.5804.0 to 3.0.5805.0. Tells me theres an upgrade available but doesnt upgrade. I have some manually created boxsets and in fact noticed that one of them wasnt being displayed earlier when browsing from MBC.
Overseer 66 Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 Do you have any boxsets that were built with the web interface or the auto boxset plugin, and if so, are they still intact? Lost some boxsets: Star Wars Collection, Star Trek Collection, to name a couple. And to throw some more kinks, the DEV version that was downloaded and installed is 3.0.5486.28133. My manager server page says it is up to date but the forum Latest Versions thread says the latest is 3.0.5849.22633. So, I have no idea what's going on.
