Subtitles out of sync after seeking + other weird bug

Recommended Posts

First things first: When I seek in the media file - the subtitles are out of sync by a whole sentence. When played from beginning without seeking - the subs are synced fine.

Another weird bug that also happens when seeking:

This mkv has an embedded spanish subtitle and then I added an english external .srt subtitle. After seeking, both will show at the same time.

Here's a screenshot:

Again, when playing from beginning without seek - it plays the english ones just fine as expected.

I've attached relevant log files.

Any news on this? It seems to be a very consistent bug. Using both Chromecast and Chrome browser.

I have seen the same behavior. I believe I was using the Chrome browser at the time.

I'll need a sample file because i cannot reproduce.

How do I go about giving you one?

Also, do you have a file sample that works? Because the problem seems consistent for me. Some more info:

I have seen it on both WEB-DL videos as well as normal TV rips in HD (DIMENSION and the sorts).

The subtitles are external srt files.

Happens on both Chrome and Chromecast, but not in the Android app.
