cant get into wizard

high i new here and this is a far as my install will get and i am wondering if im missing something. i've tried and uninstall, reinstal several times, turn off firewall, reset my hosts file

just not get past this screen

 any advice is greatly appreciated

it appears by switching to chrome my problems are solved! i need to give chrome another try as my main browser i guess

thanks for repling. all i get when i try to start the server setup is this blank screen in a browser window and the following address: //localhost:8096/mediabrowser/dashboard/wizardstart.html. the thinking icon just keeps running and nothing ever happened longest i let it go was an hour

Firefox should be OK though

windows 7 and firefox 26

yea i just tested with firefox 26 with no problem found. not sure what was going on there.
