Blog notifications in Emby in the middle of the night

Posted (edited)

I am receiving blog notifications in Emby server in the middle of the night! I can not choose to disable blog posting notifications and they are forwarded through the PushBullet plugin at 1:45h AM.

How can I disable the unwanted blog notifications like below?

You can't .  That's how we can get information out to everyone.

Why is this a problem?

Lol, serious? No do-not-disturb times?

Nice go get a wake-up call in the middle of the night for a notification that can easily be read the following DAY. That is what time zones do. So a disable option or time frame setting would be welcome.

Ask snazy2000 for an option to save the notifications and wait and send them during certain times of the day

I thought you were talking about your server dashboard which is silent and is what you posted a pic of.  If you are, instead, talking about push notifications through a plug-in perhaps there can be options added to those.  In the meantime, it seems such things could be handled at the device level as well (if you're talking about a phone for example).

Implementing on plug-in level, means it has to be done for every plugin separately, which is not very efficient.

Implementing on notification level will make it work for every plugin or device.

Adding a blog-notification enable/disable/service setting (like the current System/Plugin/Sync/User notifications) should be easier to do than buffering messages until a specific time. This would be a great first step.
