editing images in metadata manager

Trying to edit the collection folder, my movies, image. Clicking on browse, it takes me to my picture folder. Some times metro style, sometimes not. I always get the path to show, but dragging, when possible, will not work. Cant get an image no matter what I do. Trying jpeg. In MB Theater, only shows coverart icon.

Yep, that's what I used for my setup. Never heard of unc folders, but it all worked great. I noticed in that guide that the add/update image box showed choose, as an option. mine shows browse. Don't know if that is anything or not.

Still haven't been able to upload any images for my movie collection, or in profile for that matter. This is a screen shot when trying to upload in metadata manager. I have never seen a screen like the one from the tutorial. I have uninstalled and reinstalled both sever and mb theater, no help. When I click on browse, I can get a link to a picture, but that's it. What am I doing wrong?

Drag and drop won't work for me either. I am using Google Chrome 32 under Windows 7 Pro. I have to use the Browse button. That works sufficiently.

When I click on the browse button, it goes to pictures, I click on a jpeg, path entered in upload box. That's it. No picture shows. It shows no choose file button, as in tutorial shot above, in upload box, just browse.

what is the image file extension you tried? did you try another image? try saving an image from the web client, then see if you can browse to that.

Well, after trying numerous jpegs and png files, nothing worked. Then I did a metadata refresh, and a primary picture showed up. So I believe all is well now. Thanks for your help. I'm learning.

Finally  resolved  my editing images issue, while in mbserver. Started using chrome and I now have a choose file option. No such option in IE.
