How to keep split-sliced mosaic tiles?

The problem: The music, home movies, and collections will populate with their own image tiles. It seems it doesnt care if you like the split-sliced mosaic images, it will give you these others ones.

 

Collections gets popcorn. Home movies gets a camcorder thing. Music gets this oddball music notes thing. Even after delete em, every time the server starts it repopulates them. Is there a clean way to discipline this and make it respect the fact these mosaics are what I prefer?

The generated images seem to have been broken for a while now. If it was intentional, I am not sure why they are pulling images from Github again.
