legrosmoi 4 Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 (edited) Hello dev, I am trying to debug why my library scan are very slow... After an initial scan that eventually complete after some 2 hours... I do it again after a few more hours... And it is still very long... I have uninstalled the Rotten Tomatoes plugin and unchecked the 'Enable metadata download' in the 'Metadata' server tab. I deleted the Collections files and folder from the server /Data/collections/* I notice a lot of error in the log as follow: Version 3.0.5783.0 2016-01-04 12:26:37.8714 Error App: Error parsing xml file C:\Medias\Medias_05\Films\Movies\Spread - 2009 - Ang.xml 2016-01-04 12:26:38.5734 Error App: Error parsing xml file C:\Medias\Medias_05\Films\Movies\Star Trek - 2002 - Nemesis - Ang-Fr.xml 2016-01-04 12:26:39.1506 Error App: Error parsing xml file C:\Medias\Medias_05\Films\Movies\Red Lights - 2012 - Ang.xml There is no XML file with my media. I never enabled them in the server. I never had any external application to write them. I am wondering where it comes from? And why it is looking for them? Thanks, Jocelyn server-63587506934.txt Edited January 4, 2016 by legrosmoi
ab123ga 15 Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 Not sure if this is going to work for you but I had 22 min scan times just for one movie and I turned off chapter extraction. This cut the time down to under 10 min. Still seems a bit long but has made a significant difference.
